So, what's in it? Well, it has 5 short stories/novellas called Last Christmas, Bittersweet, The Bachelor, The Family Jewels and Albert's Christmas.
All stories are set in my fictional village of Bumpkinton and involve a whole host of bizzare and odd characters, but deep down, Father Whitworth O'Grady is the heartbeat of the community, if only he could find the pulse...
Here's a quick synopsis:
Welcome to Bumpkinton!
Come in, have a cup of tea and a scone, and lose yourself in five humorous tales from the village. Follow Father Whitworth O’Grady as he chokes on a penny, Albert Scatterhorn as he becomes the grubbiest Father Christmas ever, and Amelia Goose as she feuds with… well, anybody.
Plus a whole host of characters as they attend the village’s first Singles Night with a sex-crazed ladies’ man.
Jump in and find out more for yourself…
I hope you have as much fun reading it as I did writing it.

My name is Matthew Drzymala and I am an indie author of short stories and novellas. I've been writing since 2012, having attended two creative writing courses and really enjoyed it. I've also started my own writing group locally, we meet once a month and it's really taken off, so I'm really proud of that :)
I'm looking for readers who enjoy a light read. I have a series of stories called The Bumpkinton Tales set in a fictional village full of odd characters (and some normal ones too!)
They're in the humour genre, I genre I find it difficult to find reads of. I'm a new writers, so I'm still finding my feet and I feel my storytelling is growing with every release. We all have to start somewhere :)
I have 4 books avilable, all very cheap on Amazon, so if you like a light, silly read I hope these stories are for you. You can find them on Amazon here:

I also have one short story called Brainstorm, this is a story about a clinical psychologist struggle to hold his life together. It's much darker than my other works and one I am very please I wrote. A lot of personal stuff went into it :) If this is more your thing, maybe you'll like to read that instead.
