February 1 - Chapters 1 thru 10
February 8 - Chapters 11 thru 19
February 15 - Chapters 20 thru 29
February 22 - Chapters 30 to Conclusion

Please provide feedback on the proposed schedule.

Lynnm | 3025 comments Looking forward to reading the novel!

I read parts of the reviews (avoiding spoilers), and everyone seems to love it.

Looks great to me. I started it last week when I was in the doctor's waiting room and I was almost disappointed that they came for me as quickly as they did. Barely got through a few pages.

That's a good sign. I haven't started yet as I'm leading a discussion in another group. I'm looking forward to it though.

I read it a few years ago (Hardy marathon), but will probably read it again with you.

Tracey (traceyrb) I have just ordered the book and will start it when it comes.

Teaqueen | 5 comments Downloaded my copy on iBooks. Looking forward to participating!

Lynnm | 3025 comments I started reading it yesterday, and have read the first 3 chapters. It is very good.

Although, after just reading Last of the Mohicans, it is a bit disappointing to go back to the "parlor room." :-) Plus, there doesn't appear to be any type of overarching theme...but I'm sure it will appear at some point.

I feel exactly the opposite. After all this time spent with people who are constantly shooting at each other, killing, scalping, and tomahawking, it's a relief to get back to civilization. I mean, I used enjoy camping in the summers when I was younger, but it was also a joy to get back to my home, my books, and my hot shower.

Tracey (traceyrb) My book has just arrived and I am looking forward to reading and discussing it.

Hello: I'm interrupting this group discussion to remind everyone that the poll is up for the March read, it is pretty close and so if you are planning to join us please consider voting. Also, if you've voted for one of the less popular options and would like to throw your support behind one of the front runners, you can change your vote anytime before the poll closes.

Now, back to A Pair of Blue Eyes!
