Viper walked into the cave, and sat down on the wall, waiting for the meeting to start.

Eclipse entered and looked around and saw another dragonet

She looked like a Nightwing, with dark, black scales that carried undertones of blue and purple. But she also looked like an Icewing, with a ruff of spikes around her neck and blue white scales on the undersides of her wings.
She must be Eclipse, Viper thought. The other crossbreed.
"Hello" She spoke "You must be Eclipse. I'm Viper. How are you liking Jade Mountain?"

Eclipse turned. "Hello." She said. "I'm Eclipse." She dipped her head politely. "Nice to meet you Viper." She smiled.

"I love Jade Mountain. It's wonderful. How do you like it?"

Lazuli peeked in, then quickly went back out into the hall

"I don't know" Viper said thoughtfully. "Different from the rainforest. But I guess you'd know that. Or did you grow up with the Icewings?"

"I grew up in the rainforest, but occasionally I go to the Ice Kingdom, my father doesn't like the forest."

"Do you know who that SeaWing is? It seems weird he'd just walk off like that"

Eclipse looked into the hall, but there was no one there. "No, do you?"

"Eh, maybe he's just shy. I heard there's a new prophecy. Are you curious about it?"

(Do the dragonets know they're in the prophecy? Do they tell or keep it a secret or be curious as anyone else?)

((I don't think they know))

Eclipse nodded "Yeah, I wonder who they are..."

"I wonder if any are here, at Jade mountain. I mean, it makes sense, since the dragonets from the last few major prophecys have all come here."

(Also, what sort of evil are they facing? Animus who used to be good? Power hungry somebody? Someone who found an ancient animus artifact? Something else?

Eclipse got excited "Maybe we're in the prophecy!" She said

Eclipse wanders around the room, bored

Jackal walked into the room and looked around. He seemed like he was just checking out his new room but he was also identifying escape routes for various types of emergencies, locating the best hiding spots, and searching the room for any tactical advantages that it could supply. He did not even notice the other drsgonet in the room

"Hey" said Viper "Who are you?"

Jackal jumped slightly then looked at Viper and said "I'm Jackal. I take it you're my wing are?" He smiled

Yeah" said viper. Two nightwings? Like one wasn't enough?
"What do you think of the Prophecy?" she asked.

((as you can see, she doesn't like Nightwings much.))

((Jackal is a sandwing.))

Eclipse walked over "Hey Jackal." She said, offering him a friendly smile

"I think it's rather presumptuous. It expects like six specific hybrids when the tribes are only just starting to mingle."

Jackal smiled at Eclipse "Hello. And who are you?"

Eclipse grins. "I'm Eclipse." She says, and holds out a talon. "Nice to meet you."

Viper held out her talon as well
"I don't know," she continued " Me and Eclipse here are both hybrids. We plan to figure out what this whole prophecy thing is about"

Jackal shook talons with her and said "Nice to meet you Eclipse." 'A nightwing.' He thought 'I wonder if she can read minds or see the future or maybe she's a mix of both. It's possible that she's an animus dragon but those haven't showed up in the nightwings since the time of Darkstalker.' His mind moved very fast

Eclipse smiled ruefully "Yeah, obviously." She showed off her ruff of spikes. "I would rather not breathe frostbreath on you but you get the idea."

"Do you have any ideas about what it might mean?" asked Viper. " Eclipse and I think some of the prophecy dragonets might be at Jade Mountain. I wonder who they might be?"

Jackal nodded "That makes sense. Maybe I could help you." He smiled at them "I'm good at figuring things out."

Eclipse shrugged "I don't know what to look for?"

"Hm." Jackal repeated the prophecy in his head "It's vague in parts but it I know it asks for a few hybrids and a few normal dragons. Not that it's bad to be abnormal o anything." He said quickly

Eclipse frowned thoughtfully "Of course you didn't mean that." She said reassuringly

"Okay just making sure." Jackal said "So do you have any nightwing powers?"

"Yeah" pressed Viper, suddenly curious. "Do you?"

Eclipse backed up nervously "Who, me? No no no." She said, swishing her tail across the ground
