Both are series and both are very good. "The Last Vampire" I read as a teen in a three book set, so it's kind of old, (the eighties), but my teen self enjoyed it.
Also... Dealing with all manner of creatures of the dark:


And instead of vampires, here are some excellent ghost stories:
For a slightly younger crowd perhaps just stepping into the world of YA paranormal, though for myself I reread these out of sheer nostalgia, but, these books are a fun, short read for any age. The third book plays around with time travel, which is fun:




And my all-time favorite YA paranormal... That will hit below the belt with the feels:







if your looking for a longer series then the Morganville Vampires are definatly worth reading
all the libraries have this series, fifteen books in total.

This is a three book series (so far). There is a virus going around and there are some safe havens across America. It follows the story of two sisters that trek across the country escaping Blood Farms.
