Buddy Read with Elisabeth Paige discussion

I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone a few years ago and loved it! The beginning is a bit slow going, but you have to keep reading -- give it time :)

I read it like 2yrs ago (I'm actually currently reading Dreams of Gods and Monsters) and I wasn't a fan of the characters (Karou, Zuzana & Kazimir) at the beginning, especially the scene in Karou's art class (it felt to... "first fanfiction" to me?) but I thought the world and the chimera characters were so great and vividly written, it made me want to keep reading.

Safe to say, I like the characters now. Except Kaz.

I don't think anyone actually likes Kaz.....and if anyone does I admire you!
