Personality: A weak and socially awkward crybaby who loves her family, but is trying to become more modern and European. She is fairly poor and does a lot of farming.

Fears: Her brother Russia, when she hasn't paid the gas bill, talking to strangers

History: Ukraine was the first child of Kievan Rus, who then had her brother Russia. Russia became bigger and often dominated her, while their younger sister Belarus had not yet become all possessive. Ukraine broke away from Russia in 1991, but now faces the challenge of finding new friends

History: When Mekaru was younger, she was really close to her parents. But one day, when Mekaru was out with her parents, a dark mage came after her and her parents. But her parents gave their lives to protect Mekaru. Mekaru ran until she came across the Fairy Tail guild. She has been part of the Fairy Tail guild ever since, and the Fairy Tail members became her family.
