New Adult Book Club discussion

Hello NA Readers and Authors

Monthly Group Reads are two books chosen each month where any reader can engage in conversation about the book. But please no spoilers as some readers read at varying rates and may not be finished when others are. We love the involvement of our members and the more members making comments the more involved we can all become.

Each month we have 2 options:
1 - Contemporary Reads - these are modern fiction books and can have a range of themes within such as romance, college, sports, music, erotica, dark (self-harm) etc.
2 - Non-contemporary Reads - so these are fantasy books which can have themes including dystopian, angels, vampires, witches, vampires, fae, shifters etc.

You can choose to read both or one whichever interests you that month. So please come and join the Monthly Group Read conversation.

I really like this idea, I also do it in another group and it´s always very good. Normally we hide spoilers but its good to change ideas about the book.

My suggestion would be to have a topic for people who wanted to read as a group to have at least 3 books or maybe make a poll or otherwise each person that would like to read as a group to give a name of a book and see if someone is interested for a buddy read? that´s just an idea

For example I would love to read the vampire academy we could see if there are more people interested in reading this series we could start from the first book and go on until the end of the series.

On the other group i´m reading , started with book 1 and now reading book 2

I see the discussion for suggestions hasn't been used in a while, so I'll reply to this, sorry if it's not the correct way to do this. I've been quite "obsessed" with two new series, and I think they're both contemporary New Adult (I hope I'm not mistaken here).
the first one is a trilogy, erotic romance
the second one is a series of two books, dark (self-harm etc.)
they are new and not very renowned I see, so I would be very happy to see what others think since I've loved them so much.

I haven't seen a recent new read but I love this idea! Looks like we can add a new topic to the thread if we want to start this again. Anyone here who has recommendations, please lmk!
