End of Days discussion

I loved the ending, but I won't lie seeing Rafe with demon wings caught me off guard at the end. Still I think it is a great way to honor Beliel death and still be able to fly. You can't blame Rafe for not wanting to give up flight. Heck I wish I could fly myself even if they were some ugly looking wings. Flying is like totally the best way to get around and scout for danger. Throughout the series Penryn Mother was a not job, yet she always knew how to make me laugh. Penryn sis was a stitched up monster and a great asset to the war. I love Penryn strange crazy family, but Penryn take the cake as all time favorite. Don't forget the twins and I am so glad they survived because they always knew how to make me laugh. RIP to Obi he was a great leader and managed to keep a lot of people alive too. O how I missed the series already and I wanted to see Penryn marry Raffe. I wanted to be there for their wedding day badly if only they had one. I already miss Raffe like crazy it felt like he was my soul mate and Penryn was my other half. I will miss this series like crazy and wish to see more already... >.<"

I always find it terrible, to have my fave series ended, to know that I would read the last book of the series, even though I have been waiting for an end to every story.

As for End of Days, I refused to read my book for sometimes. Silly enough but I felt reluctant to finish reading.

Who would not miss the characters in the book? They are all awesome. Strange, weird, wicked but are loved and missed.

I hope Ms Susan Ee will write a novella or short about Penryn and Raffe's life after the chaos ended, but I suppose she might find it too cheesy.

I'll take whatever novella or scraps Ms Susan Ee can pull out at this point. I just miss Raffe so much, feeling like my own heart is breaking. Who knows maybe Susan will pull out some more books because originally this was going to be a 5 book series so who's to say she won't write anymore only time will tell... ":'(

Sad thing is I will totally pay full price for a little 150 page novella if it were just a 5 year update on them.

I think a novella would be awesome. A prequel of Raffe before he met Penryn or a epilogue a few years after book 3.

She was going to have it a 5 part series but broke it down into The End of Days. :( Maybe if we ask reeeeally nicely!

I know. Very wishful thinking! XD I guess she just was losing her connection to the story maybe? Didn't think she could fill in the space adequately? Quality over quantity for sure and End of Days is a whopper of a conclusion!

Yeah. I have to agree; she probably didn't know how to fill the story in the book series if it was still 5 books long so instead she cut it down to 3 books. :(
