My teen group really liked Unwind by Neal Shusterman. It is a story in the not very distant future where kids from age 12-18 are unwound if they get into too much trouble. Some families have a "tithe" child for the sole purpose to be given to society at 12 to be unwound. Unwound means all the parts are taken from a person and used for transplants from organs to eyes (not just corneas) to hair. Everything is used so no more glasses, no baldness, etc.
Yes! I was very well written & I read all 4!!! I think adults would have a different perspective/experience but it would still really make them think!!!
Happy Booktalking!
