We here at All About YA love our authors, but in order to keep the group organized, we're rolling out some rules for the Author's Corner section:
1. You may only promote Middle Grade and Young Adult books here. All genres are accepted, but the books being promoted must be for young readers (12-18 years old). (We had an author promoting erotica in here, and we have members as young as twelve years old. This will not be tolerated.) 2. If you promote a sale, please include the starting and ending dates. This will make things easier for readers who want to take advantage of the sale, but it will also make things easier on the mods when we have to remove your post. 3. If you have a giveaway, please include the start and end dates. 4. Do not create more than one topic for the same book! I don't want to name names, but someone in here had more than ten different topics for the same book. That's not fair to the other authors. To fix this, create one topic, and write a new comment when you have a new sale or update. I will be deleting members if I see that they have multiple topics for the same book. 5. We no longer organize an R2R (Read to Review) program, but you may offer copies for review to members. Keep in mind that we are not responsible, and we will not track down members who fail to post a review. 6. NO FUNDRAISERS! We do not allow authors (or anyone) to ask for funds to complete writing projects. If we find any fundraisers in the group, you will be removed and blocked from joining. 7. We may remove you from the group if we see that you do not follow these rules.
