Shalom All!

February's book is 'Hanns and Rudolf'. I noticed that nobody commented on last month's book. I hope this month's book will bring more discussion.

Enjoy!

Lorri (lorrim) I read this book back in June 2013. I can't say enough about it.

My review is at this link, if anyone wants to read it.

cameron I just finished this excellent book. Haven't even written a review. I was glad it didn't try to to paint the poor, mistreated German who gets duped by the Nazis. The difficulty Hanns had getting to England and his frustration at the difficulties he had being accepted, mostly because he was German and not because he was Jewish, are insights rarely written about today. The unbelievable irony of his journey through the war and his almost accidental training as a Nazi hunter is more interesting than any fictional plot. The stories of Jews in WW2 include many who weren't caught directly in the horror of the Holocaust.
