Jaffareadstoo | 9 comments Signing up for my second year of the Read Scotland Challenge. I managed 8 books last year so I think, owing to my other book review commitments, that this is the most manageable level for me. Looking forward to discovering more Scottish books and authors in 2016..

So many good books to choose from, I'll just see what comes along....!!

Jaffareadstoo | 9 comments 1. In the Cold Dark Ground by Stuart MacBride. This is a gritty crime thriller by an established Scottish crime writer. Set mainly in Aberdeen.

Lorna (rogue_librarian) So looking forward to reading Coffin Road! It's not on Kindle (yet) so I will plan on picking up a paper copy when I visit Lewis this summer.

Jaffareadstoo | 9 comments There been a bit of a Scottish lull in my reading recently but I'm pleased to share;

3. Love's Long Road by GD Harper.

It's a gritty psychological suspense story set in Glasgow and London in the 1970s..

Hope you like it. It's written by an independent author and is really quite good.
