What did you think of Kate's first meeting with Curran? Did it play out the way you thought it would? If you read Curran's POV of the meeting, what did you think of his reaction to Kate?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Kate has a very clear case of foot in mouth syndrome. She speaks before the thinks. It could have gone much worse - he could have squashed her like a bug and eaten her, lol!

lorii (Loriidae) I enjoyed Kate's bravado. The "Here kitty kitty " comment was a classic. I thought it was interesting that he trusted her with the photos/information on the dead shifters straight off until we found out later that Jim was one of his high level men

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Love the "Here kitty kitty!"

Tracey (trakka) | 407 comments Yep the "Here kitty kitty" did make me laugh. I love Kate's wit and her foot in mouth syndrome. I love how she is so bold.

Mary Beth | 193 comments Yes I agree Kate is very daring. I loved her here Kitty Kitty remark also. and I did love her wit.

Christina T (crysteena73) | 180 comments At first I couldn't decide if Kate was just snarky funny or just completely foolish. Her sarcasm cracks me up but sometimes she really needs to stop talking. Curran really could just kill her he'd be in his right. It's like she kind of has a Deathwish but she really doesn't want to die either. It will be interesting to see how her character develops over the course of the series. And of course I need more Curran. I never read Curran's point of view I'm not sure the library has them but it would be interesting to read his point of view on how the meeting went.

Highly recommend that you do read it, Christina. It is fantastic seeing the same events from his POV.
