A copy of Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them resides in almost every wizarding household in the country. Now Muggles too have the chance to discover where the Quintaped lives, what the Puffskein eats and why it is best not to leave milk out for a Knarl.

Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to Comic Relief, which means that the pounds and Galleons you exchange for it will do magic beyond the powers of any wizard. If you feel that this is insufficient reason to part with your money, I can only hope that passing wizards feel more charitable if they see you being attacked by a Manticore.

Finishing thoughts

(view spoiler)[Okay, so I did not enjoy it as much as I believed I would. And, there were some really disgusting things towards the end...... Nope, I don't even want to mention them. I have a hunch that the adaptation of this book is going to be one of the rare cases in which the movie is better than the book. Just a hunch! (hide spoiler)]

I'm still looking forward to the movie and I'm pretty sure I'll prefer the movie. I liked learning about the different beasts though. At least I won't go in completely unaware. (hide spoiler)]

The descriptions about these beasts are so fun! Especially the Basilisk!

Like her writing process must be so interesting! I don't understand how she does it! After all this time, she's still doing it!

well that was short and sweet brought back some memories of reading Harry Potter look forward to seeing the film if they are making one

The original book is not the script of the movie. It's the book Newts is writing. It's a description of all the fantastic beasts.

Wanting to join in this will begin tomorrow :)

I know. But when I requested for the screenplay to be the one that was restarted it was done on this thread so I assume we use it for both

Hi Anna. That's why I asked, because I can't find the original book. I know it's extremely hard to read so I just wanted to make sure I'm going to be reading the same book as my buddy :)

Jamieson, as long as we are reading the same version, I'm okay with it :)
