You don't need to verify every book - does it meet the task requirements? Does it meet the general SRC requirements? If so, it works for the task.
Will this work:
On the cover it has the title, "Cross My Heart, Hope to Die" followed by "A Lying Game Novel." I need the N and G from "Lying" in order to use this book.

Sorry, no. If you look at the GR title, the "lying game" part is the name of the series, not the title/subtitle.
