Hi everyone! Just thought I'd let you know I got an R&R. Tahra said she loved my voice and the premise, it just needs more drama/conflict.
I've sent in a revised version. Fingers crossed!
To all you Desire authors, I enjoy reading your books every month, and you're huge inspirations. And Stacy, it'd be lovely to work with you someday. :)

Good luck!! Revisions are something we all have to do, so it's smart to learn how now. :)
How exiting, Melinda! And Kat, you are wise to know this. For years, I think I secretly believed if I could internalize what editors were teaching me with each revision I could somehow avoid revision down the road. Ha! I have since learned it is not humanly possible to keep track of every element of a story, let alone execute a stellar job on every aspect. But you'd be surprised how many books it took to hammer that into my head despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary!!
How exciting is this?!!
