So what books triggered your love for reading??

For me it would have to be Enid Blyton & L.M Montgomery...when I was younger I actually hated reading (I no what a crime?!) but I had dyspraxia which causes learning difficulties and issues with fine motor skills...so reading just took too long to read! But once I picked up these authors I found the enjoyment in reading and it didn't bother me how long it took to read... :)

Pollyanna Grows Up
Pollyanna of the Orange Blossoms
Pollyanna's Jewels
Pollyanna's Debt of Honor
Pollyanna's Western Adventure
There's more but I stopped in the middle of book 6

Kaitlyn wrote: "I've also read Heidi."

Heidi was good :D

I love all the old books :D
Pat of Silverbush
Emily of New Moon
Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm
etc

Kaitlyn wrote: "What did you mean "the author changed"?"

As in the original author stopped writing the series (which was Eleanor Porter...if you notice book 3 has a different author (Harriet Smith) then it changes again after that and it goes down hill dramatically (Elizabeth Borton)

Kaitlyn wrote: "Same here although for some reason, I couldn't get through Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm. I should probably try again soon, tho."

yeah that was probs my least favourite...but i still enjoyed it
