Malice by John Gwynne
Beyond Redemption by Michael R. Fletcher
The Path of Anger by Antoine Rouaud
Prince of Fools by Mark Lawrence
Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson

Ps If you like sci-fi try Red Rising.

Just want to suggest, that when you try any of the recommendations, come back and let us know if they were spot on or not.
It will help others to know whether to read or not.
Thanks.

If you haven't read the Riyria Revelations I'd highly recommend them. Sword and Sorcery awesomeness.
Among Thieves by Douglas Hulick was a surprise find for me a couple years ago. Very entertaining story about a fantasy underworld. Fun main character
Oh and The Grim Company, which has some very Abercrombie-ish elements and is extremely well written

Others would include Robin Hobb (if you haven't read any of her books, I would start with Assassin's Apprentice.
If you haven't read any other Brandon Sanderson apart from Mistborn, Warbreaker or The Way of Kings are both great. I haven't read Elantris yet, but I have heard good things about that book also.
And one I read recently that I enjoyed was Furies of Calderon. If you liked Mistborn, I think you would like this series as well.

Any more recommendations ?

Glad you liked the Powder Mage trilogy. :) If you liked the Broken Empire, you should try his other series - The Red Queen's War.

You will not regret reading The Red Knight
and most definitely The Crimson Shield
