After reading Donne's poem, Kat stated, "Mr. Donne didn't like women much, did he?" What did you make of that at the time? Did it seem meaningful or a red herring?

I read it, processed it, but didn't make very much of the women's part at that time.

I didn't really see it as relevant considering that the victims were male.

I thought for a time that it might have related to something their mothers had done. Red herring for me for a bit...shame on me:)

Yeah, I too did not look too deep into the poem when it came to women.
