Paige Turner | 9 comments Hello! My pen name is Paige Turner and I run a YA genre book review blog called Between Reality. You can take a look at my blog here: https://paigeturnerreads.wordpress.com I review three books a week and I am currently looking for more books to read and review. I would prefer that you take a look at my "For Authors" page on my blog (https://paigeturnerreads.wordpress.co...) so that you know what I am looking for. At the very least, I only read and review books in the YA genre and my preferred form of books is mobi. Feel free to reply to this post or email me at paigereviews@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Natasha (asanat) | 3 comments Hi Paige! I'm happy to introduced you to Mean Girl.
Have you ever been bullied? Have you been a bully?
I have two girls who are ten now, they obviously go to school and this topic is constantly on my mind. We hear about it all the time in media, from adults and kids and it seems like everyone is in the situation one way or another. I had the idea for this book for long, long time. It's been changed often (the age of the girl, her social situation) and finally I bit a bullet and wrote it. I want to share the dark result of my work with you.
"Corby Mackentile is a fifteen year-old girl who goes to private school and being bullied for her weight since she was twelve. Her parents: a TV anchor mother and an owner of a butcher shop Buddhist father are too busy with their own problems to pay attention to their only daughter. Corby has a crash on one of the most popular boys in school who mocks her once and then unexpectedly apologies. Since that moment the situation with three popular girls becomes worse. Then one day, one of the girls who bullied her, comes to Corby’s father’s butcher store where she works after school and confront her about her weight. After that, everything changes."
You can read a few first chapters right here, on GR

Matt Posner (mattposner) | 70 comments I've just released the revised second edition of The Ghost in the Crystal, my 2010 debut novel. It's a great occasion for new readers to get into the School of the Ages series. America's greatest magic school is NYC's School of the Ages, located on a secret island in New York harbor. Protagonist Simon, 13, meets a great cast of allies and enemies as he takes on the ghost of a heretic from Biblical times. The series features multicultural characters and ideas, romance, time travel, ghosts and elementals, magical battles, wise mentors, real places in New York City (and in later books, European capitals and Indian cities), moments of loss and heartbreak. There are four novels, several shorter books, and a final novel in the works.

I'd like to get you started with a review copy of The Ghost in the Crystal for Kindle readers. Please email me at schooloftheages@gmail.com if interested. I don't always get my goodreads messages, thus the email.

Coral (coral_walker) | 5 comments Hi Paige,

I have just released Children of Swan: The Land of Taron series (total three books). Since they are not stand-alone books, so I offer them all together.

The book is about "Jack and Brianna, a boisterous and inexperienced pair of quarrelsome siblings, plunge into the Land of Taron in pursuit of their parents, who have disappeared, and their kidnapped young brother Bo. They are soon caught up in Lord Shusha’s conspiracy to overthrow their father, the crown prince of Bara, and to make his own illegitimate son the king, and must fight for their survival."
