I'm probably going to try to start off the group reads with this one...
I'm almost done with a depressing classic (House of Mirth is such a misleading name) so I'll be ready for something light and fun once I'm done with that.

This is the only one my library has available, so I'll definitely start with it, but not until I finish what I have now.
I actually have already read and still own the adult reads, and the collection is out of copyright - so this will be the only one I have to use the library for. And, luckily, they have it in ebook form so I don't even have to drive out and pick it up.
I will probably start with this one as well, for the same reason (ebook at library), but I'm going to wait until April.
I am still reading Child of the Prophecy and loving it so much that I think I am not going to like anything after it! For this reason I am going to read a non-fantasy fiction book inbetween, so I'll probably start Plague of Unicorns the end of March.
We might all end up starting it at about hte same time!
I just went onto my library's website, and it's checked out. It wasn't a couple of days ago, so unless whomever is reading it returns it early, I'm looking at the end of the month too.

First thoughts...I wouldn't classify this as young adult (ala Harry Potter, Percy Jackson). To me it reads a bit more juvenile...4th or 5th grade...in sentence structure, but then there is some vocabulary that is of a higher level...strange mixture. It also has large type that I associate with younger children (but it is a relief to read). Given the large type and illustrations it is a very short book (almost a short story).
That said, I am enjoying the tale and will finish it later today. The wonderful illustrations really complete the story, in my opinion...giving a richness to the overall feel.

Good to know! I just finished what I was reading but will have to shift gears. The book I just read was very thought proving and part historical. I hope I'll be able to get into middle grade level fantasy night away!

Carole, the illustrations are what kept me in the story. Worth looking at.

Jalilah, I was a bit surprised when I opened the book, saw the larger print, and began the story. But, it only takes an hour or two to read, and it is an interesting story.
I just started it and it's really cute. Definitely middle grade rather than YA though.
For anyone using an e-ink device - the illustrations are in color, so you might find it worth it to flip through it on a color device.
I read the first few chapters on my Kindle but am now flipping through it on the cloud reader so I can see the pics properly.
