Welcome to the READ THE SEASON SPRING CHALLENGE!! - Norway edition! Read-the-Season Challenge follows the same format as our popular Read-the-Month Challenge, except that you have a whole season to finish your books.

Each year, the mods have chosen a different language for our Read-the-Season and Read-the-Month challenges. For 2016, the language will be Norwegian! Also, we're continuing the holiday trend for the Read the Season Challenge. Once again, not only can you read the seasons, but there will be additional seasonal holidays (or significant days) to choose to read.

So, here is the timeline:

VINTER (Winter) - December 21, 2015 - March 19, 2016
VÅR (Spring) - March 20, 2016 - June 19, 2016
SOMMER (Summer) - June 20, 2016 - September 21, 2016
HAUST (Autumn) - September 22, 2016 - December 20, 2016

Good Friday (Mar 25): LANGFREDAG
Easter (Mar 27): PÅSKEDAG

*"A" may be substituted for "Å"

READ-THE-SEASON SPRING CHALLENGE: NORWEGIAN
Duration: March 20, 2016 - June 19, 2016

Rules are simple.
1. Using the word VÅR or the bolded words of your select holidays, pick a book title or author (first or last name) that begins with the letters in the chosen season/holiday. Disregard a, an, the, etc.
2. Books must be started and finished within the season duration. You can start the challenge anytime within the season. You can also backdate books read within the season.
3. Upgrading levels is fine, especially if you become super active! (just not downgrading - it's a challenge, right?)


Choose your own difficulty!
Level 1 - read the season
Level 2 - read the season and 1 holiday
Level 3 - read the season and 3 holidays
Extreme! - read both the season and all holidays

you can use 2 different Es, an E and a W, 2 different Ws, or the initial of the first word in the titles.
