I finally read this, and thought it was pretty strong.

I read this waaaaay back when it was first released, so I can't remember many details off the top of my head, but I remember being very impressed and having a lot of feels. But realistic feels more than carefully orchestrated cancer-kid feels. I remember tension especially - lots of tension and dread.
