Devon Book Club discussion

I've just seen that Barry Hines died on Friday of last week. Kes and Kestrel for a Knave were iconic books of the time and Hines made a big impact. Sad news

Both the book and the film have that rare quality which allows them to get under your skin and stay with you long after first reading, or watching, them.
