2017 Reading Challenge discussion

The Forever War won the Hugo, Nebula, Locus and a few other awards in the sci-fi category. It is considered a classic in science fiction and was heavily influenced by the author's service in the Vietnam War. It is about a questionable war which lasts over 1000 years. The main character serves for the entire war and doesn't age much due to interstellar travel through wormholes. Very interesting how the societal norms change through the centuries. Recommended reading.
