I would love recommendations for books with Scottish heroes, contemporary, historical, paranormal, you name it.

Me too! Most I've read seem to be time travels, or like Kerrelyn Sparks's vampire books, but you may try for a fun little book or for a wonderful but more serious novel (even tho its sorta YA).

There is a GRs shelf called "Popular Scottish Heroes or Heroines" that has 76 listings. I found it by googling "Goodreads Scottish Heroes." You might want to browse through it. This thread is good also, of course, cause it is specific, personal recommendations. Some of my fav. authors who always include Scottish heroes is Amy Jarecki, Monica McCarty (Love her Highland Guard series!), Margaret Mallory, Julianne MacLean, Mary Wine, etc. Btw, a lot of Amy Jarecki's books are usually on Kindle Unlimited. Sometimes I join just for a month so I can read her books! Btw, Jennifer Ashley is a great suggestion! Love her writing!

Just started Connie Brockway's Highlander Undone. I loved her early historical romances, so looking forward to this.

What about Scottish heros NOT in historicals?

Thanks, Ladies. I'll check out the recommendations. Like Cindi, I would love to read more non-historicals with Scottish heroes. I love me some HIghlander romance, but modern Scottish heroes would be delish as well.

While is not a Scottish hero book, there is a wonderful Scot in it. And in it I heard something I thought was really cool...

I never knew that all the Iains are Johns!!!

This was my first KMM and it's still a standout read. But then, Jericho is in a class of his own. :)
