What are some of your favorite or worst book to movie adaptations? Did you feel like the movie was better than the book or vice versa? Are there any upcoming book to movie adaptations that you are eager to see?

I think the worst book to movie adaptation is the The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. The movie did that book no justice whatsoever. I was super intrigued when reading the novel, but I fell asleep while watching the movie. It was just bad. I think this is an example of books that just shouldn't be touched by film directors.

Hi Deidre(Dee)!! I have both of those books on my to-read shelf. I didn't know there was a movie for Memoirs of a Geisha, but I do know about the movie for Life of Pi. I haven't seen the movie yet

Madison (ramblingbookreader) I would have to say Beautiful Creatures the movie adaption was so bad. Probably my favorites are the Hunger Games movies.

I haven't seen all of the movie for Beautiful Creatures, but I haven't read the book either. I have seen the Hunger Games movies and read all the books and I must say they are both great
