MJ Nicholls (mjnicholls) | 213 comments Brit-Canadian novelist who wrote the simply wonderful Sterne-Rabelais homage Bartleby, which is unforgivably out of print. His other novels are less overtly metafictional, however, still dabble in the weird, and are all out of print.

Novels:

Bartleby, 1971, Anansi. Reissued 2016, Verbivoracious Press.
To Catch a Spy, 1978, Viking.
Antichthon, 1982, Quadrant Editions. (Published as The Heretic in the UK).
Hitler’s Bomb, 1983, McClelland & Stewart.
Jack, 1988, Macmillan.

Quabe's World, 2002, is listed in his biblio, but has no publisher info or ISBN.

Nathan "N.R." Gaddis (nathannrgaddis) | 986 comments Damn if Bartleby's resellers haven't gotten a bit out of hand!! There is literally one affordable copy before prices turn into space=age fantasies!

And the author profile seems to need some disambiguation. Chuckles. :: Chris Scott.

Nate D (rockhyrax) | 354 comments Oooh, Anansi. After my forays into the Spiderline books, I'm always interested in their strange catalogue of that period in forgotten Canadian post/modernism

MJ Nicholls (mjnicholls) | 213 comments Thanks, Verbivoracious! You guys are seriously impacting the lives our very niche community (by making stuff unburied so giving us nothing to talk about) ;)
