Topeka & Shawnee Co. Public Library discussion

I love going to bookstores and I rarely come out empty handed, but I don't always get around to reading the books that I purchased. So many books, so little time. I know I can't be the only person who does this. (Or maybe I am. Who knows?)

So my question to you is: What is a book that you own, but you haven't read? Or are you someone who always reads the books that you buy?

I probably have a TBR pile that goes floor to ceiling. I follow too many blogs that make me "want that book".

Me, too! I keep getting book recommendations from friends, family, and various book websites that I follow and I have a TBR list that is at least a couple miles long. I figure that I will never have to worry about not having something to read.

How many books do you read at the same time though? right now I'm in the middle of two and have read the prologue of another.

I usually have three going at one time because I bring home way too many books from the library. I find the new ones so tempting that I'll start right away even though I'm still in the middle of another one. I know a book is really compelling if I stick with it - and only it! - until I finish.
