The store I work for is closing up. My Boss' father,grandather and grt grandfather used to buy used books and used them for display in the store.Well they found boxes of books in the warehouse and donated them. Yesterday I found 5 left behind and asked if I could have them, and the answer was yes. Got home and noticed they are all pre-1930 and even 2 from late 1800's.My Boss would have thrown these out. I did get a few from the boxes before they were donated. I hope the donated books will be sold and not destroyed or tossed.The covers on 2 of them are absolutely lovely.So happy I have them.
