Maggie goes to Simon Shelby's home on her own, without help or notifying anyone of her intentions. Your thoughts?

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments My thought was "why does she keep doing that?" I know she did the same thing in the last book (going to the killer's apartment) and she didn't learn. She could have stopped somewhere to call Watermeier and tell him what she knew. He would certainly know where Simon Shelby lived and could check it out with her.

Phrynne | 607 comments That's her being TSTL . I don't know why authors do that. I am sure in real life they have to work in twos and would be in serious trouble for going off on their own.

Definitely TSTL and TSTB (too stupid to believe). At this point, Maggie was just about certain this guy was the killer. She would have called in reinforcements even if she made her way out there first.

Serious blunder here by the author because this was just not believable.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments Agreed. I couldn't believe this plot pitfall occurred again.. We all knew as soon as she left her dead cell phone in the car with Luc that nothing good was going to come of her idiocy. Surely there was one detective available to go with her. I hope the author stops doing this to us. An FBI professional is not going to go in without backup galore.
