So for Item #40 (A novella from your favorite genre) I chose In the Tall Grass by Stephen King and Joe Hill. Honestly, I thought it was more of a thriller but it turned out to be more of a horror book. So I sort of missed in terms of picking a book that fit the topic, but I still didn't mind it overall.
I listened to it on Audible on a drive and it was an easy enough listen, if nothing exciting. I thought the mythology they started to develop here was interesting and wished they would have explained it all a bit more. I think that would have made it a far better story. I would love it if they tied this into "The Dark Tower" series and explained it all a bit more.
As it stands though, I thought this one was just kind of ok and would give it 3 stars out of 5.
