Pretty nice military sci-fi story, written from the point of view of a sentient spaceship (single crew, fighter-bomber class.) Sentient spaceships seem to be all the rage these days.
How come Belters are always at war with Earth? It's such a common space opera theme, it almost seems inevitable.
So the point of this is that an AI is less a sociopath than its pilot and commanding officer? I wonder if it likes cat pictures?

I agree on the Belter - Earth war. I wonder who wrote that first? Heinlein's Between Planets was first published in 1951. Weren't there Belters in that war or was it just Earth-Venus-Mars?
