Bookish Bowen (bookishbowen) | 2 comments I live in rural England can I interpret this as country. England is about the size of an American state if not smaller.

Zoe (zoezoe) Light Between Oceans is set in western Australia. And I think the Rosie Project is set in Perth but I'm not sure. :)

I suddenly thought you should read a book set in the American state that is closest in size to England.

Theresa Hayley - I would equate the American 'state' with whatever your governing division is below national level - probably county.
