Berneta Haynes (bernetalhaynes) | 10 comments Waking Writer (https://wakingwriter.com/), a website for thoughtful writers and creatives, champions and inspires authors and lovers of language by highlighting, informing, and supporting emerging voices across the globe.

Are you an emerging or established author looking for more exposure? Waking Writer offers free interviews for authors of a variety of genres. Every author can use more exposure!

What Kinds of Literature Does WW Highlight?

Waking Writer accepts interview requests from fiction authors writing in all genres, but interviews are especially welcome from authors exploring science fiction, fantasy, LGBT themes, African-American themes, and young adult fiction. WW does not accept interview requests from authors of romance, erotica, and Christian or religious-themed material.

Poets and authors of creative non-fiction are also welcome!

What’s the Interview Process Like?

Interviews are conducted entirely via email, very straightforward and provide authors an easy opportunity to gain exposure to a wider audience. All interviews are promptly shared via Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ once they are live on the site.

Ralph Webster | 4 comments Hi Berneta You might find "a Smile in One Eye: a Tear in the Other" interesting for an interview.

“The Third Reich is rising. The creeping madness in the heart of Germany will soon stain the entire world. This is the true story of one family fleeing for their lives.

The Wobsers are prosperous, churchgoing, and patriotic Germans living in a small East Prussian town. When Hitler seizes power, this comfortable family life is destroyed by a horrifying Nazi regime. Baptized and confirmed as Lutherans, they are told they are Jewish, a past rarely considered, but a distinction that makes a life-and-death difference.

Suddenly, it is no longer a matter of faith or religion; their lives are defined by race. It is a matter of bloodlines. And, in Nazi Germany, they have the wrong blood.“

Thanks
