There are six types of magic in this RPG, each of which has a light and a dark mage (Life and Death being the same type). This thread will provide a brief description of what each type of magic can do, you will have creative liberty from there though ~*~ Elements: These mages can sense and control their respective elements, as well as draw power for spells from them. Fire Mages cannot create fire without fuel. ~*~ Mind: These mages can hear the thoughts of others and draw power from concentration, both theirs and others. It takes more discipline to be a Mind Mage than an Elemental Mage, as hearing the thoughts of others can be highly overwhelming. Mind Mages always hear constant whisperings at the back of their mind, especially when in or around large groups of people; with training they can learn to block it out, but it is not always wise to do so. ~*~ Life: The Life Mage is the leader of the mages. The powers of the Light Mage are among the hardest to control, only surpassed by Death magic. The Life Mage draws upon the life around them, in the trees and plants, animals, and even people. ~*~ Death The Death Mage controls the most unstable magic know to man. It thrives off of death and decay, and is smothered by life. If not well disciplined, the Death Mage will easily lose control. ~*~ Each mage must work together with their counterpart to learn their magic, as Dark magic, being as unstable as it is, must have light to bring balance, for if it is released without balance, it would be nigh on impossible to stop it. The dragons also possess this magic, and are meant to be the mentors for the sorcerers.
