Wow! That's such a great article, quite comprehensive and thorough, what I great resource, thank you!
I agree with the books, we'll approach it that way.

I can only post for Silmarillion illustration by Ted Nasmith now, but I also cannot wait to look for other illustrations from other illustrators. It's so much fun searching and seeing those illustrations. I can spend hours in Ted Nasmith website only, lol.

This folder is definitely my favorite part.
Just keep digging on it! You'll find more amazing pics for Sil illustration from various artists and you're gonna love it, even more! ;)

I've already saw some good works for next chapters, cannot wait for you guys to see it. Most of them are from Ted Nasmith, Alan Lee and John Howe though.
But Wita, if you want to add the illustrations, please free to post it in its thread. I know you know some other illustrations aside those three ;)

Aww, thanks a lot for the permission. I'll work on it asap!
I think it'll be fun to see those illustration, as it can add to my reading experience.
And I found this old article but is a new-interesting thing for me regarding illustrator Tolkien loved and approved of http://io9.gizmodo.com/5968792/the-mi...
To make it easier, I think it is best if we divide the illustration based on Tolkien books. And since we’re reading The Silmarillion now, I’m going to start with it. Feel free to add it by yourself and enjoy!
