Crazy but charming, right? Eta Estern is a career with a brain, which tends to overtake her normal side. Highly intelligent in the biomedical science, Chemistry, and Martial arts, she's a foe to fear. Both in mobs and in the darkest recesses of the arena.

Apart from her vicious side, Eta is the nicest person you'll ever meet. Normally equipped with a smile, she can easily fool anyone about how she isn't hostile, and how she isn't bad like the 'others'. In fact, she can play a harmless pacifist role if she wants to, but in the end she'll only kill everyone to be the victor.

Eta's ability to support herself in close combat gives her a great advantage with blades. Her preferred weapon are two Khukri style blades, curved to catch her enemies even at the slightest turns. They were also great to throw as projectiles. Eta also has a secondary passion for the bow and arrow.

Ever since she was born, Eta had always been smart. She'd started school when she was 3, and finished when she was eleven, graduating high school. Due to being in the districts, Eta wasn't aloud to go to college. However, through her school, the teachers were able to let her rent college grade textbooks. This is where she grew to love higher sciences, such as biomedical and chemistry.

Rather than attempting to apply for college, Eta decided she wanted to use her gifts in the Hunger Games. With her talents, she knew she'd never find a proper job in the districts, and accepting death was better than living a life she never wanted.

During the reaping, Eta had volunteered.

History: Cadence was born to an average family in District 7. Her family growing up was quite large, having 6 older siblings and later 2 younger ones. Much like others from her district, Cadence was out in the forests chopping trees since she was a toddler. Due to her quick speed in climbing trees, Cadence was often sent to climb to the top of trees and cut the upper branches. Most of her childhood was spent up in the trees, and she loved it. When Cadence wasn't working, she was playing with her siblings in the trees. She lost her oldest brother 2 years ago, after a tree fell on him at work. At this reaping, Cadence was reaped normally.

Personality: North is intelligent and resourceful. He is quick thinking too. North can be put in any situation and adapt quickly. He is physically and emotional strong. North is an extrovert, but he can sometimes be shy in new situations. He loves to socialize and make friends When North becomes friends with someone he is in it to the end. He will fight for his beliefs and friends. North is very open to others about most things in his life. North is also manipulative. He coaxes you into giving him what he wants, without you knowing that you have been played. North is also a honey badger. North loves to win, anything. When he puts his mind to something he does not give up. North is very nimble, a fast runner, and acrobatic. North is adventurous and brave, most of the time. When angered, North gets sassy and can hold a grudge like no one’s business.

History (at least 4 sentences): North was born into a high-middle class family in District 1. He is the youngest of 4 siblings. North’s family lived farther out in District 1 than most. He lived by lushes forest and mountains. When growing up he was often alone when he would come home from school. This is one of the factors that shaped North into being so social and making so many friends. His siblings and parents were always at work. His dad was a peacekeeper and his mom was a top class interior designer in District 1. North’s brothers were jewelers and his sister was a designer like his mom. When he was young, North often wrestled with his dad. He had his dad train him in close range combat and hand to hand combat. For his 11th birthday North got a set of handcrafted throwing knives and a bow and arrow. His brothers made them for him. North took the weapons and hid them outside of the district boundaries, in the forests surrounding. North’s dad never knew about the weapons. North would often sneak out of the district and into the forest to practice. He became seriously skilled with knives and okay with the bow. He had a couple close encounters with peacekeepers. He was able to evade the keepers due to his speed on foot. North’s family held interesting views on the games. His dad and brothers loved them and waned North to be training for them. His mother and sister thought the games were brutal and wicked. One day people from the career training school came to North’s school they did an assessment and North did really well. He was given a scholarship to the school. North’s mom urged him not to accept, but in the end he did. While at the training school North trained for the games really hard. The urge to volunteer one year grew inside him He wanted to be in the games badly, but every reaping he would chicken out and not volunteer. One day close to reaping day a young girl was found hiding in the basement of North’s house. His dad found her and started taking her to authorities when his mother, brothers, North, and sister stopped him. They forced his dad to let her go and give her to them. The family decided to illegally adopt the girl and house her in their home. They had no neighbors anyway. The girl was a runaway from district 12, who faked her death in 12. On reaping day one of North’s close friends got reaped. Without knowingly he volunteered himself for the games.

mal is a hardworking, tough leader who has laser focus. she is one of the hardest workers in panem, always willing to go the extra mile to prepare or better herself for a difficult task ahead. mal pushes herself to the physical and mental extremes, forcing herself to get tougher and block out pain or hurt. consequently, mal has a high pain tolerance and a very tough persona. she is the type of person who will push through whatever she can, and whatever it makes sense to push through. mal is a very focused, driven person when she has set her eyes on a goal. in group situations, as she has so much experience with being a team member, mal knows how to rally troops and be a leader, and a teammate. she is a fairly nice person, she won't go out of her way to be nice or kind but she also won't go out of her way to be rude and obnoxious either. she has relatively quick wit and is relatively clever, but not to the point where people would remember her for it. mal is extremely competitive, and is generally willing to go to nearly any extreme to best her opponent. that's not to say, she knows when she is beaten and is respectful in future exchanges. malaenie is one to hold a grudge, and is generally easily annoyed, but overall is someone that the majority of people would befriend eventually.

history

malaenie brooke johnston was born the second of three children to iris and malik johnston. her older brother, uriah, was four years old when she was born, and thrilled to have a little sister. at first, anyways. malaenie was born into a stable household with steady income and all the necessities. she was loved, nurtured, and raised to be respectful and responsible. mal attended school at the proper age, and immediately got involved in extracurriculars, mainly athletics. a natural born athlete, mal had speed, strength and stamina that made her one of the favorites when it came to picking teams in p.e. classes. she loved to run and play with her peers, and became quite the socialite through sports. while she played many sports as a child, soccer was always her favorite. despite her success in athletics, it didn't translate into the classroom. she wasn't a terrible student by any means, but she wasn't a valedictorian either. she passed every grade, not with top marks, but with marks that showed she put effort into her studies. when mal was six years old, the fifth member of the johnston family entered the world. taelynn johnston was born, and malaenie had to adjust to being the middle child. she no longer received the attention she used to, and she couldn't escape her brother's endless teasing as easily, since her parents were mostly preoccupied with baby tae. of course, there was still plenty of love to go around in the johnston home, but mal found herself having to become much more independent.

as mal emerged from primary school, her involvement in every sport narrowed to involvement in just two, soccer and volleyball, on top of the traditional career training. the more work she had for school, and the more time she spent in the training center (just in case the day ever came that she had to participate in the games) the less time she had to play sports. she played both for her school and club teams, leaving her rushing from practice to practice to game to school to training for her whole secondary school career. her grades slipped on several occasions, but with some grit and extra credit, mal kept herself within the b-c range. by that time, taelynn was in school, which means her parents able to pay more attention to all their children. as the middle child, malaenie always felt a little neglected, but her success in athletics and her parents' pride in that success was enough to keep her satisfied. malaenie's school team, varsity of course, won their province championships all four years of high school for soccer, and three out of the four years for volleyball. her club teams found success as well, winning reigonals (after province championships) in soccer and making the province championship in volleyball. mal's losses in the province volleyball championships were heartbreaking, but they were a valuable experience that she carried with her as motivation. at age seventeen, malaenie was approached by the manager of the local women's professional soccer team, who offered her a spot on the team. having aspired to make the team, malaenie accepted. she transferred to online school to make it easier to accommodate her new training schedule. however, mal had to give up volleyball, which was tough for her. in the end, she had always liked soccer better, but she was still passionate about volleyball too.

while mal was a forward in top scoring form, she still didn't stop her visits to the career center, especially as she approached the magical age of eighteen. she was in the final year of eligibility for the games, and she truly didn't want to be picked. it wasn't that she wasn't capable, for she most certainly was, but her life was just beginning for her right before she was reaped. on that tragic day, malaenie was chosen, and she was forced to do her best to survive if she wanted to continue her dream and see it become a reality.

Lily and her brother were the lucky children of District Nine's richest couple. Ever since she could remember, Lily would be swarmed by parapazzi and posed for photo shoots. They never grew hungry and never needed and tesserae. In fact, they rarely ever had any work other than posing. They were a perfect family,

At least, that was what everybody thought. Lily's father was an alcoholic, and fought with her mother almost every day. Lily's brother took it the worst. Often her father would come home drunk and tell Noah that he was useless and deserved to die. Soon, he started to believe it. When she was twelve, Lily just barely talked her brother out of suicide. Since then, she was secretly depressed. Somehow, nobody outside of the family knew
about the suffering going on in the seemingly "perfect" Oswald family.

The Reaping:
Lily looked at Noah one last time before the reaping began, and said softly, "Good luck.". He nodded and answered "Good luck." Lily walked off to her group just as the announcer started talking about the glory of the capitol and the games. Her eyes glazed over and she started collapsing into boredom. Then suddenly she awoke as the announcer read "Lily Victoria Oswald" to the crowd. She automatically stepped forward. She didn't know if this was a dream or not, she had had several similar to what she was experiencing now. Somehow, she knew deep inside that this was no dream.

Personality:

Valentino is a quiet type of guy who most of the time will be present but will usually go unnoticed by many. He likes that though, he would rather not be noticed than to have multiple eyes on him. He is hardly the one who starts a conversation with someone and isn't really the best at making friends since he is extremely shy and is afraid that people will judge him. He tries not to think too much about what others think of him but it's hard for him. When with new people, he merely nods and smiles. He usually isn't remembered and mostly forgotten by those who meet him. He has very few friends but those who are friends with him have only good things to say about him. If one were to really get to know Valentino, he would make their lives just a little bit better. He is funny, but doesn't trust himself enough to say his sarcastic or comedic comments out loud. Valentino is very kind and caring, almost to the extent that it isn't good for him. He stresses a lot about others and tries to help anyone and everyone other than focusing on the things that bother him. This causes him to avoid problems until they are so big that they are extremely hard to correct. He loves to make others smile and is delighted when he is given confirmation that he has made them happy.

Valentino is not one to take risks nor does he like the feeling of adrenaline rushing through him. He finds it hard to lie to people but is very good at keeping secrets. He holds a lot inside and though many people only see him as the super cute, super sweet guy that is selfless and helps around a lot in his District, many people don't know that Valentino holds a lot inside. He doesn't talk about his life or himself in general. He tends to hold a lot inside and hates talking about his family or past. He hurts inside and fears that if he talks about it, he'll break even more than he already has.

History:

Valentino grew up in a unloving family. And even though his family looked as though they were well off from their house and possessions, the family bond was another thing entirely. Valentino's father left when he was 10 years old. His mother, him and his sister woke up one morning to a large amount of money on the table in the kitchen. This was what they were to live off of from now on, for the rest of their lives. Now with his father gone, Valentino's mother needed to make money so she became a seamstress but was paid little due to her inexperience. When Valentino was 16, a letter was sent to their house. It was addressed to him and him only. He opened it to find his fathers handwriting before him. He read his father's lousy excuses for leaving and then at the end, his father asked for money. The man had the nerve to ask for money when he was the one who left. Furious, Valentino found a lighter in his bottom drawer. Just as he was about to burn the letter and watch his father's piteous last words to his eldest son burn before him, his mother came into his room. She questioned Valentino but he refuse to tell her, yelling at her as she insisted he tell her. He stormed out of his room and locked himself into the bathroom. Frustrated, he ran himself a bath. He slipped into the warm water and read over his father's letter. When he was done releasing his father from his heart and mind he lit the paper on fire. He watched it smolder and wither before him. Some of the pieces of the crumbling letter fell to the floor and he watch them slowly extinguish, or so he thought. The rest of the paper he dropped into the water, snuffing out the fire as quick as it had come.

Later that evening, Valentino's mother had questioned him again about the letter. He knew she hoped it was his father saying he was coming back after earning money for his family. That the only reason he left was because he needed to and was coming back. Valentino couldn't take the childlike immaturity that shone in his mother's eyes. He stormed outside, saying he was going to sleep at his friends house. He couldn't take having to tell her. This moment of him slamming the door behind him is what he regrets the most. He runs this memory over and over again in his mind every single day. That night his mother and sister died in a mysterious fire. They died in their sleep, the smoke suffocating them before their bodies were consumed by the flames. The house burned to the ground. The fire was hardly even investigated and assumed to be caused by the Reese family leaving on the fire place to keep warm during the night. But Valentino knew. He knew that it was him. He had not made sure none of the embers from his letter had not been left on the floor of the bathroom. The wooden walls must have caught fire first and spread around the house within an hour.

Genevieve has red hair that looks somewhat faded. She wears glasses most of the time and keeps bandages wrapped around her ring and middle fingers out of habit from a young injury. She appears fragile and thin, which is misleading, and she has very pale skin sprayed with freckles.






Personality:

Genevieve is quite standoffish in regards to people she doesn't know, probably due to her inability to carry a conversation. She usually speaks in formulas and equations, which is why she's more comfortable with her colleagues than others. She's quite ambitious, but overworks herself frequently. Genevieve is also very agile, due to her lean form and tall stature. She is very resourceful, perceptive, and intuitive.


History:

Genevieve has overworked herself from a young age, taking more science classes than others, and staying at school longer than the other children. This gave her extensive knowledge of many things, like herbs and plants, human anatomy, medicines, and chemistry, before she developed a fascination for Astro-physics and things such as space-time. She began a small company that develops new ways to collect power for Panem, other than things such as wind turbines. Behind the scenes, she has been working on a small-scale time machine. Her entire life did and does revolve around the sciences - she had few friends, and focused mainly on school, which she enjoyed more than anything else.


Family:

Genevieve is the youngest of four, so expectations of her are unusually high. She'd been pushed by her family to exceed the achievements of her siblings and to fill their shoes. She put so much responsibility and workload on herself in order to attain this. Her older brothers are working together in the power plants, and her oldest sister was sent to the Games.

History:
She was born into the middle class of district 3. She was remarkably clever for those her age, even able to deactivate the electric fence surrounding her district. Unlike others with this talent, she was more willing to use it for her own ends. When she was 9 years old, her father electrocuted himself after accidentally touching the electric fence. After grieving, she found a way to deactivate it. Intends to win the games and overthrow the capitol,

Personality: kind and very generous toward others. Always very helpful, caring at others. Although after he was reaped, his personality became much more vicious, deadly and cruel but use his old personality to pretend to be nice to others.
History: He is from a family of 4. As he is from District 7, he worked as a lumberjack. His father is really sick, so he has to be responsible for his family. Giving him very useful knowledges about trees and he is pretty strong from cutting trees and carrying trees. Very skilful at using axes.
