The only problem you might face, is language. It's kinda southern dialect, but not tough. DON'T READ REVIEWS.

Hi guys, I will definitely join the group reading for this novel., however as I already mentioned in another group, my kindle has recently passed away (poor overburdened booky soul). I have already bought a new one and will surely catch up with you sometime by the end of this week :)

I am actually liking his character mostly bcoz of his innocence. Just his strange obsession with mice is beyond weird. lol

@Gorab - sometimes they do malfunction beyond repair :( Amazon has kindly offered to swap my broken one with a new device, but shipping would take ages. So I bought a new model, but I still plan to exchange my broken for a new one.

The other guy, George, is also a nice guy. He is taking care of his friend even if doing so has made his life a living hell.

Finished chapter 2 also. Some more characters were introduced. One is total douche (Curley) and there is also an "ancient" dog.lol
Lennie might actually get some pups to play with. But I think Curley is going to make Lennie's life miserable in later chapters.

@Palash- Are you enjoying the language? It was a little hard to understand for me, but then I got accustomed of it. It's "purty" :P

Yeah, I am actually liking it. Infact, it's language has made the book even more entertaining and immersive.

Okay I've started it today... I don't like this crude language.... but slowly getting a hang of it.

It was good. Doesn't get boring at any point. Story is about friendship of two guys. And it's just around 100 pages long, so you can finish it in around 3 hours easily.
I am sure u will like this Lennie guy if u read it.

The language is weird because it's a dialect (southern american if I remember correctly).
