For GRNW 2016 that will be held on Sept. 24, 2016 at the Seattle Public Library, we are once again asking writers and readers to help create the conference program!

What does this mean? Similar to 2015, we're accepting panel submissions!

What kind of panels can people submit? Please see our Panel Submission Guidelines. We'll be looking for submissions that include the entire panel, including topic and panelists, and not just an idea for a panel.

When are submissions due?: June 22, 2016.

Have an idea? Please feel free to discuss!

You can contact us directly to bounce off ideas for a panel, but you can also use this space and this folder on GR to discuss ideas, ask for recommendations on who to reach out to, and any other topic related to creating a panel. :)

We'd love your help in making GRNW 2016 a great program!

Karelia Stetz-Waters (kareliastetzwaters) | 2 comments Hello Friends,

I am interested in presenting a panel at the GRNW conference and am looking around for a couple of folks who might be interested in working on that project together.

I loved the conference last year when I attended for the first time. (If you saw the plenary panel last year, I was the woman with the faux-hawk and glasses).

I am thinking about doing something on sex scenes, but I'm open to other ideas. If you're possibly interested in a collaboration shoot me a message. I'm on all the usual social media platforms and at stetzwk@gmail.com.

Christopher Moss (kitmoss) | 20 comments I am definitely interested in being on a panel. My idea for the topic is how to start writer discussion groups in person. I am setting up a local group to meet at my house to discuss different aspects of writing, self publishing vs going through a publisher, writing for young adults, genres, time management, etc, and, of course, sex scene, and occasiona readings.

I can be reached at christopherhmoss@gmail.com or 425-487-1140, and you can meet me on social media and http://authorchristophermoss.blogspot... .

Karelia Stetz-Waters (kareliastetzwaters) | 2 comments Hi Kit,

I think you've got a great idea for a panel. I've given the idea of writing groups a lot of thought, both because I teach creative writing and because I've been in various writing groups. For what it's worth, here are a few musings on the subject:

I think sex scenes is a great idea (what's not to love?), but perhaps you could focus it a bit more. For example, sex scenes with aliens or paranormals (I'd love to be on that panel!).
