Fantasy and Vampire Book Club discussion

May is associate with fertility and flowers, and was named after a goddess of fertility.
In May we celebrate Mother's Day and Memorial Day. Its gemstone is Emerald.

1. Read a book with a mother, grandmother, surrogate mother (subsitute), or sibling who rasies younger sibling. (I'll even consider males here if they do it single handed)
2. Read a books where someone becomes/is pregnant or has a baby, or someone who gardens.
3. Read a book where someone dead is remembered, or there is a celebration for the dead.
4. Read a book with green as a major color on the cover or the author is named green or some shade.

Great and welcome, I was thinking I would be the only one this month as I put it up a little late. :-)

I was wondering why I didn't immediate recognize the books you put in but after going to them, I realize that they are YA. I almost always have to have a challenge or a recommend to go to YA books. I love the all the strange names, Kestrel, Day, Enai, Theta,... better than the unpronounceable names I've been getting in mine.
