Personally, I read series over again once all are released, straight through with no other books in between. I find it helps with seeing how everything builds and finding small hints you forgot. For this reason, I try to wait until a series is completely released to start it.


Usually I space them out, too. I find I need a break so I can be excited to be back in the world with the same characters again.
Every now and then one will grab me so that I feel compelled to read all the books straight through, and that's why I usually wait until all the books are out before I start. Otherwise I don't know when I'll be caught having to wait and not wanting to. I hate cliffhangers too!
