AlegnaB † (alegnab) I finished six in April. I've read a total of 40. I had originally set my goal at 40, but before reaching it last month, I upped it to 53. I'm not going in the order of the list. I've read books from all of the sections.

Laura (Book Scrounger) (bookscrounger) | 22 comments I'm on track to surpass my goal of 36 at this point. April seemed slow, but I read a couple long books so that's probably why. I'm still going through the list in order, but I think I'll give myself permission to move around a bit after the next few categories.

Cynthia I finished seven in April which is a very good month for me. I skip around in all the categories. I plan to read mostly from the first 52 categories but will swap a few out from the last group. So far I have finished 20 for the challenge.

Heather Hi all - great to hear the updates!

I finished four in April, which was actually pretty good for me. I had started two long ones in March that I finished up, and I threw in my "less than 100 pages" book just to give me a bit of a break. I'm at a total of 16 for the year, which means I'm technically a bit behind schedule. However, I'm in the middle of rehearsing for a show that runs next week, so I have a feeling after that - with my evenings more open - my reading totals will go way up.

Favorite book finished in April was All the Light We Cannot See, with The Advocate as a close second.

Least favorite was The Call of the Wild, not because it was that bad - just compared to everything else I read. I did listen to this one on audio book, narrated by Jeff Daniels, and I thought he did a great job!

I have a stack of books I requested from the library sitting on my "book table" and I can't wait to dive into them when I have a little more free time!

VeeInNY Good to check in here occasionally .... appreciate the updates... Completions were only three: book club finished Holy Listening: The Art of Spiritual Direction, I finished the first of 3 readings of The Rule of Benedict: Insights for the Ages, also read Peter EnnsThe Bible Tells Me So.
However I have three major reads in process.... Thus I have read 17 for the year ~ per GR am three off pace :-(
(PS I also have a "book table" ~ heavily laden...

Glad to hear I'm not the only one! Yesterday my husband suggested moving my books elsewhere so we could put something else on that table - but as I pointed out, it's a small table perfectly suited for my "to read" pile! :)

Deon (deonva) | 116 comments I read 11 books

71. A book by or about a pastor’s wife Seasons of Waiting: Walking by Faith When Dreams Are Delayed was a great book!

47. A book by David McCullough The Wright Brothers was my first David McCullough book and I really enjoyed it. (I did this one as an audiobook, so I didn't get bogged down with the details)

The rest of the April list is on my blog https://talkingundertheumbrella.blogs...
