34. Re-read a favourite book

It can be a bit of a marmite book - some people don't buy into the premise and find some parts of it slightly dodgy, but I really fell in love with it the first time I read it, and it's one of the few books I'll read more than once. It's just such a human, imperfect love story. I think the concept is really creative, and side steps some of the issues with time travel as a premise, because Henry has no choice where/when he goes, so it changes the whole idea of the butterfly effect. Then at the centre is this love story that's just so flawed and beautiful.
This is the main book I'd say is my favourite. I have a 'favourites' shelf where I've put some books that are 5-star and that I could see myself re-reading. Those would have to be the two main criteria - I've read other books which I thought were outstanding but I wouldn't re-read them, so I wouldn't call it a favourite. However, this one is definitely a cut above the rest for me :)
- What did you / will you read for this task?
- Why is this your favourite? Is it as good as when you last read it?
- Do you have one favourite book or is this one of a few? What makes a book worthy of being a favourite?
