Hi all, now that the International Prize for 2016 is all over--congrats to those who picked The Vegetarian to win!--it's back to our usual schedule for June & July. (The 2016 Man Booker Prize longlist will come out at the end of July this year, so I figured we can still squeeze in a regular read for that month).

As usual, you nominate 1 book and second any 2 books that others have nominated. Please do not nominate a book if it has already been nominated, just give it one of your seconds. That makes it easier for me to keep track of everything. And of course your nomination has to be a previous Man Booker prize winner (not just a nominee).

Voting will close in 1 week, on May 23rd, so that we give everyone enough time to pick up a copy of the book before June.

And for a reminder, we have already read: The God of Small Things, The Blind Assassin, The Line of Beauty, and The Luminaries. So do not include those in your nominations. Thanks!

Can't wait to see what we end up with for June!
