Our Next Series Read

We are starting 2 new series in June 2016:
One is Hard Ink Series - with the first book Hard as It Gets.
Hard as It Gets (Hard Ink, #1) by Laura Kaye
As for the other one, the mods want to know which of these interest you more:
Raphael (Vampires in America, #1) by D.B. Reynolds
Daughter of the Forest (Sevenwaters, #1) by Juliet Marillier
The Selection (The Selection, #1) by Kiera Cass
These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1) by Amie Kaufman
If Angels Burn (Darkyn #1) by Lynn Viehl
Tell us your preference in the next few days.

ShoSho (shoshost) | 12263 comments I want to read all 4 , probably Raphael (Vampires in America, #1) by D.B. Reynolds more than the others. But I will participate in any of them.

message 4: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) I'll definitely participate in the Hard Ink series read.
Can we nominate other series or are these ones set in stone? :0)

What do you have in mind? :D

message 6: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) Here are a few I've been eyeing for a while:

Hidden (Bone Secrets, #1) by Kendra Elliot Silk Is for Seduction (The Dressmakers, #1) by Loretta Chase If Angels Burn (Darkyn #1) by Lynn Viehl

message 7: by ShoSho , Moderator (new)

ShoSho (shoshost) | 12263 comments We want the other one to be fantasy/paranormal. We'll add your last suggestion to the list. Thanks

message 8: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) Thanks ShoSho :0)

Lara | 2335 comments I think I have several in The Selection (The Selection, #1) by Kiera Cass series, so am interested in that, and my library has the rest. However, I'm also interested in and own the first of Daughter of the Forest (Sevenwaters, #1) by Juliet Marillier and my library has the These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1) by Amie Kaufman trilogy.

Personally I'm vampire'd out, so don't lean towards Vampires in America or the Darkyn.

All that being said, my preference is for Daughter of the Forest (Sevenwaters, #1) by Juliet Marillier , except for it's length, and then These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1) by Amie Kaufman as I really like scifi and it's short and available.

Lauren, I'd like to get to Silk Is for Seduction (The Dressmakers, #1) by Loretta Chase . Don't know if I can do it every month. Does every other suit you?

Sure, alternating months is fine for me too. When would you like to start?

ShoSho (shoshost) | 12263 comments LK, will you join if we read These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1) by Amie Kaufman ?

message 13: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (vickiguardianofthewraiths) Several look good to me so here are my choices:
#1 Raphael
#2 If Angels Burn
#3 Daughter of the Forest
#4 These Broken Stars
Will read whatever the choice is. I'm having such a good time on GoodReads reading books and their reviews by people on here can't wait!!

Lara | 2335 comments Even though I'm not drawn to tattoo parlor stories, I already own the first 3 books in the Hard Ink series. By the way, the entire series so far is only $12 for all the kindle books here in the US right now.
