Srikumar Krishna Iyer (physri) | 10 comments I Just purchased this hardcover copy from amazon.
Its a single book containing all the stories (around 1000 pages).
Wish to know if I have company in this group.
Please reply if you are also reading this classic.

Reshma (ReadAway) | 170 comments I read it last year. It is simply amazing.

Srikumar Krishna Iyer (physri) | 10 comments Hi Reshma,
Nice to know.
Its one huge book and my reading speed in Malayalam is low, how should I approach it, so that I can complete it by end of this year?

Reshma (ReadAway) | 170 comments Even though the book is huge the stories are short. So, you can just read one or two stories at a time. I am a fast and voracious reader, so I finished it in a week or so. I loved it. I couldn't stop reading once I started.

Its a big book. I read it as a kid many years back, and I used to read the same kind of stories together, complete them and then move on to another genre. For eg., there are a lot of stories about elephants (ആനക്കഥകൾ), about magic, about kings etc... Reading them together is really good as it will keep us totally immersed in the genre (as most of the stories are really short). At least that's how I read this book.
