2017 Reading Challenge discussion

A young adult /coming of age novel from Sandra Kring that I missed when it came out in 2015. This is not my favorite of Ms. Kring's novels, but I would still recommend it. A young girl is raised by her paternal grandparents after her mother's death. The grandfather is flat out mean and the grandmother is a mouse. The girl, Bless, hasn't seen her father in years. If I say much more it will give away what happens.
