You'll find loads of Discussions, separated into Threads under their headings, on the front page aka Group Home. You can join in these discussions by adding a Comment.
There's a pop-up box next to the empty comments box when you start typing in it - please read and digest.
"But there are already so many comments to read, where do I start?" I hear you ask.
One way is to start by clicking top right in the menu of Discussions. Then click just below the search box where it says 'unread topics'. Then scroll to the bottom of that list and click where it says 'Mark all comments as read." That may sound strange, but there are thousands of unread comments when you start and you're never going to read them all. This way you find what's actually going on in the group now. Next time you come on, click to find the unread messages, and boosh! - you find the threads people are active on.
Of course there will be other interesting discussions you want to read and comment on. Check through the board with the discussions at your leisure. Either fill in the comments box with your comment, or hit 'reply' to someone's comment before saying what you want to say.
Warning: some of these menus may be slightly different if you're using the mobile App.
Your next step is probably to introduce yourself on the New Members thread (Hi Everyone!). Then maybe you'll check out our Book of the Month thread. Find out what we're reading now, and nominate something appropriate for next month.
Although, if you're an Author I strongly suggest you read the sections in Group Business on Gentle Reminder to Authors, and then the Notes at the start of the Author's Corner. Right now. Strongly :)
