Valerie | 280 comments Somewhere In Time is a little bit different than the movie in that it takes place in San Diego, and not on Mackinac Island. The basic premise is there, and most of the important scenes, but there is a LOT of stuff in the beginning that made it hard to get through.

I normally do not say this...but, the movie was WAY better.
